KARACHI, April 1: Five ships, carrying containers and soyabean meal and to load 10,000 tons of cement, are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Golden Express, YM Sun, YM Faha, Rio Rubio, to unload and load containers and Suez Express to offload general cargo were berthed after the departure of six.

The vessels, which departed included Kota Wangsa, Cape Ferro, Hynudai Highway, YM Sun, Golden Express, and Lauren, while YM Faha, Bruce Park, Kota Merdesa and Wan Hai-267 are due to sail out on Saturday.

A total tonnage of 67,733 tons comprising 18,299 tons of export cargo and 49,434 tons of import tonnage, including 3,672 tons of sugar, was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Global Princes, with containers, Induruwa Valley, with 2,500 tons of soyabean meal from India, Carla and Ibn Batouta, to load 2,800 and 7,000 tons of cement, respectively, and Pantanal, with general cargo.
