KHAAR (Bajaur Agency), March 30: Seven members of a family were buried alive while a minor boy was injured when the roof of their house collapsed in Mamond subdivision here on Tuesday night. The family of Shamshad Khan had gathered in a room for dinner when an under-construction wall of the house fell on the room due to which the roof caved in, burying all of them alive.

A neighbour of the unfortunate family fired aerial shots to inform the people of the incident. Soon, the villagers gathered and started a rescue operation. The villagers rescued the boy from the wreckage who told them that other members of his family were lying under the debris. The victims were Shamshad Khan, his wife and five children. All of them died on the spot, but the people shifted them to the hospital.
