HYDERABAD, March 27: Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim on the third and last day of the Urs of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai on Sunday paid homage to the Sufi poet and laid a floral wreath on his shrine.

He also offered Fateha.

The chief minister also laid a floral wreath on the shrine of Shah Habib, father of Shah Latif, and offered Fateha.

He distributed clothes among destitute women in the compound of the shrine and listened to Raag of the great poet rendered by his seven Faqirs. He also gave Rs15,000 each to Faqirs, besides announcing Rs25,000 each for the seven Faqirs.

Sindh Culture Minister Shabbir Ahmad Qaimkhani, Sindh Zakat, Ushr and Religious and Minority Affairs Minister Sardar Manzoor Panhwar, MPAs Dr Sohrab Sarki and others accompanied the chief minister.

Dr Rahim also visited a medical camp set up by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement at the Bhit Shah Chowk.
