KARACHI, March 27: Sindh government is committed to provide quality health care facilities at affordable rates to the masses at their door step.

This was stated by Sindh Health Adviser Faisal Malik while addressing a seminar on Health Management and Pharmaceutical Administration organized by the Institute of Business Management, Korangi campus, here on Sunday

He said efficient partnership was required between the government and private sectors to attain the set targets.

“Basic facilities with particular reference to health could be ensured through close coordination and collaboration between private and public sectors,” he stressed.

Mr Malik made particular reference of the health policy issued only recently by the Sindh health department under which private health care institutions had been attempted to be brought under a system of constant surveillance and monitoring.

Mr Malik appealed to the medical community to realize its responsibility towards the ailing humanity and deprived segments of the society. He also expressed his strong resolve to combat the menace of spurious drugs, maintaining that those indulged in the heinous crime would be strictly dealt.—APP/PPI
