KARACHI: KMC restrained

KARACHI, May 30: Justice Anwer Zaheer Jamali of the Sindh High Court on Thursday restrained the KMC from taking coercive action in respect of demands made by it in pursuance of the impugned notice of Jan 17 for the renewal of the expired lease for a further period of 99 years.

The order was passed when the plaintiffs Amin Hayat Corporation — plot No.5, sheet RY-15; Sadiq Traders Pvt limited — plot No. 3, sheet RY-15; Ideal Traders Pvt Limited — plot No. 1, 2 and 3, sheet RY-17; Kawas B. Aga — plot No 2, sheet RY- 15; Iftekhar Ahmed Soomro plot No 1, 2 and 3, sheet RY-17; Mohammad Ashraf and Mohammad Amjad — plot No.2/2, sheet RY-16, situated at Railway Colony moved the court.

Barrister Kamal Azfar, along with Saadatyar Khan and Sardar Zulqarnain Sadozai advocate appeared for the plaintiffs.

DELIMITATION: Justice Mohammad Ashraf Leghari heard objections and reserved order on constituencies of Larkana district. Objections were raised by Nisar Khuhro, president of the PPP, Sindh, with regard to delimitation of the provincial assembly constituencies in the Larkana district.
