KARACHI, March 11: An employee of Dawood College of Engineering and Technology (DCET) was manhandled by Rangers deployed at the DCET.

According to employees, president of the action committee of DCET non-teaching staff Noor Mohammad Baloch was tortured by Rangers on complaint of Principal DCET, Saleem Chaudhry when Mr Baloch protested on illegal acts of the principal.

A spokesman for the committee said Ranger’s duty was to maintain law and order not to resort to inhuman torture against employees.

He demanded of DG Rangers Sindh and Corps Commander to take stern action against those found responsible.—PPI
