KARACHI, March 1: About Rs6.351 million have been collected by the Sindh Katchi Abadis Authority (SKAA) at lease camps set up at 14 katchi abadis during the lease week. Some 14,985 people benefited from these camps.

This was observed at a review meeting of SKAA held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Director General Mir Nasir Abbas to take stock of the performance achieved during the lease week.

The meeting was informed that SKAA had included two more katchi abadis into its ongoing lease programme. These katchi abadis include Moosa Goth, North Nazimabad spread over 14 acres with 700 houses and Tekri Colony, Bath Island on 10 acres and having 300 houses.

A camp has been established at Tekri Colony for issuance of lease. He said that objections had been invited in Moosa Goth. - APP
