PESHAWAR, Feb 23: A leader of the NWFP chapter of Pakistan People's Party has criticized the performance of the government of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal in the province.

In a statement, Sardar Sikandar Hayat Sherpao said the MMA was oblivious of people's problems and it had lost people's confidence by not fulfilling its promises.

He said that during its two years in office the MMA had done nothing to implement the Islamic laws in contravention of the promises it had made to the masses.
