PESHAWAR, Feb 22: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) has asked some senior officers to be at the central complaints cell for some time on some specific days.

According to a press release issued here on Tuesday, Pesco chief executive Brig Tahir Saeed Malik has asked senior officers to look into consumers' complaints in the central complaint cell on specific days.

In this respect, the Pesco chief also issued a plan for the senior staff according to which the Pesco chief himself would look into consumers' complaints on every Wednesday from 10am to 11am while the chief engineers (technical and operations) would be available for one hour on Tuesdays and Saturdays respectively and director of commercial on Mondays and Thursdays, said a press release.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for Pesco has said that power will be disconnected temporarily in various parts of the province to carry out repair works in different grid stations.

Power supply from the 132-kv Tangi Grid Station will be suspended from 8am to 3pm on February 23 and 25. This would affect power supply to Wapda's 11-kv feeder in Sherpao.

Power supply from the 132-kv Shahi Bagh Grid Station will be stopped from 9am to 4pm on February 24 as a result of which consumers receiving electricity from the 66-kv Badhber and 11-kv Talla Gang feeders would remain without power.

The consumers who are being supplied electricity from the 132-kv Mardan-II grid station will remain without power from 8am to 12pm on February 26. Kehaal feeder's consumers would be without power on February 24 from 10am to 3pm, and power supply from the 132-kv Peshawar city grid station would remain suspended on February 23 and February 26 from 8am to 3pm.
