LAHORE, Feb 19: Bob Woolmer, Pakistan cricket coach said that clashes between Pakistan and India had always been attractive and he was looking forward to the forthcoming Test and ODI series.

"I am seeing a very wonderful series as it has always been fascinating, Pakistan vs India and I am looking forward for another good one," Woolmer, who was born in Kanpur, India, represented England in Test cricket and coached South African said on Saturday.

About the omission of pace man Shoaib Akhtar on fitness grounds, Woolmer said that the bowler had aggravated his hamstring and was not available for the tour. "Yes we will miss Shoaib's speed and bowling in India but it will give opportunity to other youngsters to perform," he said.

About the spin department of the team, he said that Indians were strong against it and the seam bowling will play more vital role for Pakistan." "If you look at Indian record they play spin very well and I hope seamers can make the difference," he said.

Woolmer avoided to comment on the team selection saying it was not his department but he supported that a bowling coach with the team could do better. "It is better to have a helping hand as dealing with 16 players with one man is not an easy job."
