HYDERABAD, May 29: District Police Officer Moazzam Jah awarded different punishments to 45 police officers.
The police officers were awarded punishments, which included forfeiture of increments and services and warnings, for dereliction of duties, misuse of powers and failure to control crime.
The delinquent officers included three inspectors, 15 sub-inspectors and 27 assistant sub-inspectors.
ARRESTED: The Hyderabad region police have arrested 24 persons and recovered seven pistols, one gun, 26 rounds and nine cartridges from their possession.
