Communication system project okayed

ISLAMABAD, Feb 15: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has approved a project worth Rs39 million to establish Internet Communication Network System and digital library at Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) Karachi.

The project will be completed in one year, said an official statement. The project has been launched to interconnect different departments of DUHS for mutual sharing and access to vital information, to connect administration to the local area network (LAN) of DUHS with internet and to provide latest and advanced knowledge through internet to the students and teaching faculty in order to upgrade the advanced knowledge of their field as well as to find new and latest mode of teaching and understanding.
