Kapco's IPO from 21st

KARACHI, Feb 4: The public subscription to the initial public offering (IPO) of Kot Addu Power Company Limited (Kapco) will open from February 21 to 24, 2005.

A press release issued here on Friday by the Karachi Stock Exchange stated that it had approved dates of publication of offer for sale documents (OFSD) and opening/closing of subscription for the IPO of shares of Kapco.

The OFSD will be published on February 6, 2005. In accordance with the SECP directive, the trading in Kapco shares on the provisional counter will start from February 14.

The company has informed the KSE that its board of directors' meeting, to consider half-yearly accounts for the period ended 31 December, 2004, is scheduled on February 11, 2005.

"In order to facilitate the potential investors, prior to publication of OFSD, the company would arrange the publication of financial results for the period ended 31 December, 2004 in newspapers," the KSE said.
