KARACHI, Feb 3: The Karachi finals of the 'Dawn in Education National Spelling Bee' competition will be held in the Bahria auditorium on Friday (today).

According to a coordinator, 118 teams, including 24 from District West-Malir, would take part in the Karachi championship. The District West-Malir round was held on Thursday. The successful school teams of the West-Malir rounds in three age groups are as follows:

9 to 11: CAA Model School No 2, K.N. Academy, Nasra School Malir, Nasra School (afternoon), Prince Aly Boys School, Qamar-i-Bani Hashim School, Royal Cambridge School and Shamsi Society Model School and Inter Girls College.

12 to 14: Hamdard Public School, K.N. Academy, Nasra School Malir, Prince Aly Boys School, Royal Cambridge School, R. R. Memorial Girls School, Shamsi Society Model School and Inter Girls College and St Peter's High School.

15 to 17: CAA Model School No 2, Ghulaman-i-Abbasi School, Hamdard Public School, K.N. Academy, Qamar-i-Bani Hashim School, Royal Cambridge School, R. R. Memorial Girls School and The City Cliff School.
