LAHORE: Couple found murdered

LAHORE, Oct 28: Bullet-ridden bodies of a couple were found in the fields in Khokhar village in Badami Bagh on Sunday.

Anwar Ali told police that he found the bodies when he had gone to the fields for work in the morning. The police rushed to the scene and removed the bodies to the city mortuary for autopsy.

One Ulfat Bibi, a resident of the village, identified the body as that of her elder sister’s. She claimed that the other body was that of Achoo.

Residents told Dawn that the dead woman was married to Muhammad Sharif 23 years ago in Qila Kaleer of Narowal and she had five children. She fell in love with 42-year-old Achoo and eloped with him. She was not seen then.
