KANDAHAR, Jan 30: Two landmine blasts in the south and east of Afghanistan killed at least two people and injured 15 others on Sunday, police officials said.

Pakistan-based Afghan Islamic Press reported that two men were killed by a landmine in the eastern Kunar province on the highway that leads to the city of Jalalabad.

Separately, a small bus carrying civilians hit a landmine in Arghandab district of Kandahar province, General Salim Khan, a senior police official for Kandahar city, told Reuters.
