NEW DELHI, Jan 30: India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh will work under Australian bio-mechanics expert Bruce Elliot after being reported for chucking while bowling the doosra delivery, an Indian cricket official said on Sunday.

The 24-year-old was reported during the recent Test series in Bangladesh over his deliveries which spin away from a right-hander. "We have identified Bruce Elliot for Harbhajan to work on his action and we have informed the ICC on the action we are taking," Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Karunakaran Nair said.

Harbhajan, who was reported by match referee Chris Broad last month, was given six weeks to complete the corrective procedure and report back to the ICC. Nair said the ICC has extended the deadline until Feb 18 following a request by the Indian board. -Reuters
