Iqbal, Salim candidates for CE post

KARACHI, Jan 26: Pakistan's former Test cricketers Iqbal Qasim and Salim Altaf are candidates for the post of chief executive of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

PCB Director Media Abbas Haider Zaidi told reporters at National Stadium on Wednesday that the names of two cricketers were under consideration.

However, he made it clear that nothing has been finalized as yet and the final decision in this regard will be taken by Pakistan Cricket Board boss. He said various names were being considered as the members of the ad hoc committee which is being headed by Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Mr. Shaharyar M. Khan. -APP
