Lawyers' convention convened on 29th

ISLAMABAD, Jan 26: The Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) on Wednesday announced plans to hold an All-Pakistan Lawyers' Convention (APLC) on Saturday (29th) to discuss steps for the restoration of the 1973 Constitution , independence of judiciary and establishment of a true parliamentary democracy in the country.

PBC Vice-Chairman Rasheed A. Razvi has convened the convention at the Sindh High Court Bar Association office in Karachi at 10:00am on Jan 29, to discuss the future line of action against the dual office bill approved by both houses of parliament.

All members of the provincial bar councils, office-bearers of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), presidents of the high court bar associations, district and tehsil bar associations across the country have been invited to attend the convention.
