HYDERABAD, Jan 25: The Hyderabad Electric Supply Company has announced a load shedding programme to carry out annual repair work on electricity lines and jumpers.

According to the schedule, power supply would remain suspended on Jan 27 from 9am to 4pm in the Hyderabad operation circle-I which include Gari Khata, Sarfaraz Colony, Hirabad, Liaquat Colony, Qasimabad, Hali Road, Allama Iqbal, Umaid Ali, Tando Allahyar, Tandojam, Umerkot and Kunri sub-division.

In the operation circle-II power supply will be suspended on Jan 27 from 8am to 2pm. The sub-divisions include Phulelli, Pareetabad, Jamshoro, Thatta, Tando Mohammad Khan, Matli, Badin, Talhar, Shaheed Fazil Raho, Dadu, Johi, Mehar, Sehwan and Khairpur Nathan Shah.

Load shedding will be observed in the operation circle Sukkur on Jan 27 from 8am to 1pm in Sukkur-I and II, Bundar Road, Site area, Ghotki, Mirpur Mathelo, Daharki, Khanpur Mahar, Obauro, Khairpur, Luqman, Pir-Jo-Goth, Ranipur, Gambat, Setharja, Kotdiji, Old Sukkur, Saleh Patt and Pano Aqil sub-divisions.

In the operation circle Larkana, power supply will remain suspended on Jan 27 from 9am to 3pm. Other sub-divisions of the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company where load shedding will take place include Shahdadkot, Qambar, Meero Khan, Jinnah Bagh, the Empire Road, Ratodero, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Thul and Kandhkot.
