LAHORE, Jan 23: Two people fell victim to honour killing and four other suffered injuries in Misri Shah on Saturday. Police said Riaz suspected that his niece Aysha Javed, 20, had relations with her neighbour Mahboob Khan.

On Saturday, Riaz, along with two accomplices, reached Aysha's house and opened fire on her after a quarrel over the issue. Aysha died on the spot and her sister Sabra, 17, was injured.

Later, they reached Mahboob's house and opened fire on him, his brothers and father. His father Yaqoob and brothers Qayum and Humayun sustained serious injuries and was rushed to hospital where Yaqoob died and the condition of the injured was stated to be critical. Mahboob, however, escaped unhurt.

A case has been registered against the accused with no arrest. In another incident, a father of six was shot dead over a property dispute in Batapur on Eid day. Police said Shabbir Ahmad had a land dispute with his relative Faisal who opened fire on him outside his residence, killing him on the spot.
