SINGAPORE, Jan 18: Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has issued a tender to buy six high-sulphur fuel oil cargoes, totalling 330,000 tons, for delivery between February and April, industry sources said on Tuesday.
The 125-or-180 centi stoke (cst) cargoes, of 55,000 tons each and with Conrad son carbon residue (CCR) of 12 or 16 per cent, are for delivery to the Port Qasim (FOTCO Jetty).
The first parcel is for delivery during Feb 17-19, two others are for delivery in February-March and the remaining three optional cargoes are for March-April delivery.
The tender closes on Jan 26 and will remain valid till Jan 27. PSO last bought eight cargoes, totalling 440,000 tons, from Saudi trader Bakri Trading and the United Arab Emirates' D&K Petroleum.
Bakri sold six of the eight 55,000-ton cargoes, each with CCR of 16 per cent, for delivery into the Port Qasim on a cost-and-freight (C&F) basis. -Reuters
