TIMERGARAH, Jan 12: Two persons were killed here in what was claimed to be a case of honour killing in Diaron Area, Lower Dir, late Tuesday night.

The accused, Abdullah Khan, who surrendered himself before police, alleged that his daughter-in-law had had illicit relations with a man named Akber Khan.

He axed both of them to death after having watched them with each other at night. Abdullah Khan stated that on the night of the incident he found his daughter-in-law in the courtyard.

He claimed that his daughter-in-law told him that she was not feeling well that was why she had come out of her room. This version didn't satisfy him and he decided to keep an eye on her, he stated. She went out again and met Akbar in a secluded corner. Seeing this, he added, he lost his temper and killed them with an axe.
