PESHAWAR: Online hospital project

PESHAWAR, Jan 11: The NWFP minister for science and technology, Hussain Ahmed Kanju, on Tuesday said that the government had approved online hospital management in the province and for the purpose LRH , Peshawar was selected as a pilot project for computerization that would help in making the entire system of the hospitals more transparent.

He said this while addressing an inauguration ceremony of Laser and Skin Expert Centre (LSEC) here at Dabghari Garden on Monday evening. He said that on successful completion of the project, it would be replicated to other hospitals and thus online data and history of the patients would be available in all hospitals of the province.

The minister said that the elopathy did a tremendous success in the health sector and the people trust on this type of treatment, adding that laser technology at Peshawar was a welcoming step as now the doctors could easily identify the disease through tests within no time.

He reiterated that medicine was a noble profession and selfless service of the ailing humanity was real worship. He said if doctors performed their duties with full devotion and dedication, they could get success in this world and here-after. -APP
