KARACHI: Judicial allowance okayed

KARACHI, Jan 6: The Sindh government has allowed judicial allowance to persons holding various judicial posts. According to an official notification, the registrar of the Sindh High Court , member inspection team and secretary to the chief justice will get a total of Rs 5,000 as juduicial allowance.

The district and session judges, additional district and session judges and senior civil judges who were getting Rs 2,000 judicial allowance per month since Aug 1, 2002, would now also be paid an additional allowance of Rs 5,000 from July 1, 2004, raising the total to Rs 7,000 per month.

The civil judges and judicial magistrates who were getting Rs 2,000 per month judicial allowance since Aug 1, 2002, would now get an additional allowance of Rs4,000 per month, raising the allowance to a total of Rs6,000 per month. -APP
