QUETTA: Lady doctor assaulted

QUETTA, Jan 4: Four persons sexually assaulted a lady doctor working in the Pakistan Petroleum Limited's field hospital in Sui.

Police said that the incident occurred on the night between Sunday and Monday, adding that four persons, who had entered her bungalow late in the night, raped her till 5am.

Police said that she was unconscious when she was brought to the field hospital for treatment. A case has been registered against unknown persons. No arrest was reported till the filing of this report.

Meanwhile, an elder of the Bugti tribe, Wadera Ali Mohammad Bugti, expressed concern over the incident and strongly condemned it. Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, he called for immediate arrest of the culprits.
