Six Afghans arrested

WANA, Dec 24: Six Afghan nationals were arrested in Makin area of the South Waziristan tribal region on Friday, officials said.

An official said that the paramilitary troops arrested them at a checkpoint in Makin. The arrested Afghans were coming from the adjacent North Waziristan tribal region.

Authorities said that the arrested men belonged to northern parts of Afghanistan and did not posses legal travelling documents. Sources confirmed that paramilitary troops had also recovered local and foreign currencies from their possession. Soon after their arrest they were shifted to some undisclosed location for interrogation and case has been registered.
