LAHORE, Dec 22: A man allegedly strangled his minor son suspecting him an illegitimate child in Ghaziabad on Wednesday. Nawaz told police that his daughter Surayya was married to Falak Sher.

She gave birth to their fifth child two years ago, who was named Ahmad Ali.Since his birth, he added, Falak Sher had been calling him an illegitimate child, alleging his wife of having relations with a neighbour. Nawaz said Falak Sher had been threatening his daughter that he would kill the child.

He alleged that Falak Sher took his son to a room after a quarrel with his wife and strangled him. He escaped after committing the crime. The body was sent to the city mortuary for autopsy. A case has been registered with no arrest.
