LAHORE, Dec 19: The All About Lifestyles exhibition concluded at the Fortress Stadium on Sunday night after attracting crowds for two days. Arranged by the Dawn Group of Newspapers, the All About Lifestyles was the first-ever exhibition to be held at the newly-built Exhibition Centre at the Fortress Stadium.

More than 120 exhibitors had set up their stalls to display innovative products. Banks, estate developers and the National Highway Authority had also set up their stalls.

The Dawn Group had set up seven pavilions at the exhibition. Children participated in the activities like being photographed with their favourite cartoon characters, spinning the wheel of fortune, designing of newspapers and painting of T-shirts at the Young World Pavilion.

The Sci-Tech World Pavilion revealed amazing facts to visitors and offered opportunities to test their skills in the network gaming section. The Review Pavilion offered handicraft like beautiful flower decorations and exquisite rugs for those having a taste for home made goods.

A collection of film posters was also on display at the Images Pavilion. A film shoot set-up was on display with a wide range of musical instruments along with a striking display of clothing by the Pakistan School of Fashion Design.

A rare collection of prize-winning books of the past eight years was on display at the Books and Authors Pavilion. The Gallery Pavilion offered the visitors an opportunity to walk by the reminiscence of old Lahore and make their visit memorable by getting themselves sketched.

The Magazine Pavilion offered the visitors an opportunity to know their future in the astrology section and getting diet advice and the body mass index checked in the health section. The travel section offered a unique opportunity to have a glimpse of an exceptional collection of photography from all over Pakistan.

The space in front of the exhibition hall was used for the Volkswagen and Vintage Car Show and hot air ballooning on Saturday, and for the All Breed Championship Dog Show on Sunday. Classic Beetles, Jaguar and Rolls Royce were displayed during the car show.

More than 120 German shepards, labradors, poodles, dalmatians and doberman participated in the dog show. Rahid Firdausi's Ash was adjudged the best entry in the Puppy Show, Shazeb Malik's Eric was declared the Best Reserve and Landi of Tariq Razi the Best Entry in the show.

The space behind the centre was covered with canopies and converted into a food court. People from all walks of life and all age groups visited the exhibition. Traffic around the exhibition centre was jammed in the afternoon due to rush of visitors' cars.
