SWABI, May 27: Pesco Chief Executive Khalid Khan has dispelled the impression that power rates are being increased next month.

Talking to newsmen after the opening of the Yar Hussain division No 11, he said the circumstances had forced to raise the tariff in the current month but there would be no increase till June.

He said Wapda was the only department that bore all its expenditures by itself and added that Wapda had become a profit-earning department after a lot of efforts.
