Protest planned

KARACHI, Dec 6: The All-Parties Action Committee comprising the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal, Alliance for the Restoration of Democracy and several other political parties , will stage a token hunger strike outside the Karachi Press Club on December 13 in protest against General Musharraf's refusal to shed his uniform.

A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the committee, which was presided over by Qazi Ahmed Noorani Siddiqui, at Idara Noor-i-Haq here on Monday. The meeting also decided that a schedule of demonstrations and sit-ins would be announced at the APAC's December 14 meeting. -PPI
