Train, flight schedule disrupted

ISLAMABAD, Nov 29: Heavy fog on Monday hit the schedule of trains and flights by one to nine hours. Sources said that all the three domestic flights of Lahore-Islamabad and Islamabad-Lahore were delayed due to heavy fog.

An official of the Pakistan Railways said that all trains passing through Lahore have been delayed by up to nine hours. The Quetta Express (Quetta-Rawalpindi-Peshawar) reached here with a one-hour delay. Tezgam (Karachi-Lahore-Rawalpindi) and Tezrao (Karachi-Lahore-Rawalpindi) were also delayed by one hour.

The Rohri Express (Khanpur-Rawalpindi) was delayed by nine hours while the Awami Express (Karachi-Lahore-Peshawar) was delayed by more than two hours. The Chenab was delayed by six hours and reached late at the Rawalpindi railway station. -APP
