RAWALPINDI, Nov 28: A plan has been prepared to fill vacant posts in the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) and Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa), sources told Dawn.

They said the Director-General RDA Brig (retired) Pervez Mehmood and Managing-Director Wasa Aslam Sabzwari had gone to Lahore to attend a meeting and get approval for the filling of the posts in both the organizations.

It may be mentioned that no appointments have been made in Wasa and the RDA for the last several years as a result of which a severe shortage of staff has occurred hampering smooth working of the two agencies.
