KARACHI: Young man shot dead

KARACHI, Nov 25: A young man was shot dead in an apartment building at Shoe Market on Thursday. Police said that Kashif Ali, 21, had a tailoring shop in a building at Shoe Market.

He was fired upon by Naeem and his son Shahbaz in their home in the same building who later threw victim's body from the apartment building. The police have arrested Naeem and his son Shahbaz for allegedly killing Kashif who reportedly wanted to marry Naeem's daughter.

ACCIDENT: An unidentified man died in a hit and run accident on M.A. Jinnah Road on Thursday. Police said the man was crossing the thoroughfare near Tibet Centre when he was hit by a speeding vehicle. The victim was rushed to Civil Hospital where he pronounced dead.

ROBBERY: Armed suspects looted two minibuses in Lyari and Gulshan-i-Iqbal depriving passengers of cash, cellular phones and jewellery. Police said four armed suspects boarded Marwat Coach in Bihar Colony and started looting cash, phones, wrist-watches and jewellery from women passengers on Wednesday night.
