KARACHI: Kidnapped man found shot dead

KARACHI, Nov 24: Bullet-riddled body of a kidnapped young man was found in Saeedabad on Wednesday. Police said Akram alias Chuttu was kidnapped late Tuesday night in Saeedabad , and his body was found near Bismillah hotel on Wednesday morning.

The body bore two bullets and it was dumped by unidentified men in Sector 11.A note was also recovered from the body stating "The fate of an informer". Police shifted the body to Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination. The victim was a former activist of Muttahida Qaumi Movement, police added.

KILLED: A middle aged man was shot dead by unknown persons near Banaras Chowk early Wednesday morning. Azizur Rehman, 40, was fast asleep in his home in Frontier Colony when unknown suspects opened fire on him.

Police said the victim died on the spot. Police suspected some personal enmity as possible motive behind the killing as none of the valuables were taken away by suspects. His body was shifted to Abbasi Hospital for post-mortem examination.
