BANNU, Nov 21: A leader of the Jamaat-i-Islami, Senator Mohammad Ibrahim, has said his party will sue the regime for what he called it continuous violation of the constitution.

Speaking at an Eid Milan function here on Sunday, the JI leader said that the appointment of Gen Pervez Musharraf as president was unconstitutional. The Jamaat would take President Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz to court 'for the blatant violation of the constitution' after their rule was brought to an end.

Others who spoke on the occasion included Maulana Lutfur Rehman, Matiullah and Tameezuddin. Senator Ibrahim said that the MMA had taken practical steps for bringing about a positive change in the country. He said that the MMA's movement against the government would start according to the schedule.
