TOBA TEK SINGH, Nov 5: Dacoits looted three expatriates in the Noor Park locality here on Thursday night. Babar, Niamat and Noor Bibi had recently returned from England and were staying at the house of their relative , Faisal Ismail.

On Thursday night, some dacoits forced their entry into the house of Ismail and escaped after collecting 2,500, prize bonds worth Rs300,000, a video camera, gold ornaments, three passports, two return tickets to the UK and valuables.

In another incidents, two dacoits made off with a motorcycle-rickshaw near Gojra on Friday. Two persons hired a rickshaw for Chak 369-JB from the Gojra bus stand. At a deserted place, they tied driver Saeed with ropes and threw him into a nearby field and fled on the rickshaw.

SUICIDE: A woman committed suicide by jumping in front of a running train near Chak 323-JB, Trandi, railway level crossing on Friday morning. Reports said Shazia of Chak 392-JB was upset due to her family disputes.
