ISLAMABAD, Oct 22: Higher Education Commission (HEC) has finalized the schedule for National Curriculum Revision Committee (NCRC) meetings for the year 2004-05.

An official statement issued here on Friday said the HEC's discipline selection committee for curriculum revision had decided that the NCRC meetings would review 21 curricula during 2004-05. As many as 21 preliminary meetings and the same number of final meetings would be held in this continuous exercise.

A senior officer of the commission would apprise every meeting of the future national and international needs pertaining to country's economy and industry so as to revise the curricula keeping in line with these requirements. According to the approved schedule, these meetings would be held at the HEC regional centres in Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar.
