HYDERABAD, May 25: The passing out ceremony for graduating officers in different fields of aviation was held at Civil Aviation Training Institute (CATI) here on Friday which was attended among others by the director operations of CAA headquarter.
The chief guest, Deputy Director General of CAA, Air Vice Marshal Arshad Rashid Sethi, in his speech emphasised the need for hard work and not to get complacent as training was a continuous process.
He advised the trainees to apply the knowledge and skill gained in CATI to make air-travel convenient and safe for the airlines as well as the passengers.
He cautioned that although advancement in the aviation field due to the introduction of the new technologies had made the work comparatively easier but handling these new equipment required even greater care and responsibility by the operators.
He appreciated the level of skills of air traffic controllers especially in context of the international air race.
The level of professionalism of the controllers as well as the commitment of the directing staff of the institute was commended by the chief guest.
Director CATI, Mr Ahmed Jalal Shah’s welcome address was followed by course presentation reports by the respective chiefs of schools.
