SWABI, Oct 10: The Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology has been working on new emerging technologies.

This was stated by the in-charge of student activities and coordinator career services Dr Jameelun Nabi while briefing a delegation of the Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad, who visited the institute on Sunday.

The delegation comprised Dr Sarwar Naqvi, Dr G. Kadir Kazi, Dr Ghazala Sadiq and Dr Mohammad Mujahid. They visited the labs of faculty of computer science and engineering, electronics, mechanical and metallurgy and materials engineering and engineering sciences. The delegation also met with deans of all facilities.

The delegation appreciated the institute's admission policy. Meanwhile, a group of 130 students of the Army Public School and College, Rawalpindi, also visited the institute on Sunday.
