Algerian envoy calls on minister

ISLAMABAD, Oct 5: Algerian ambassador Nadir Larbaoui called on Minister of State for Tourism Sumaira Malik at her residence here on Tuesday. They discussed matters of mutual interest including the possible measures to promote tourism.

Ms Malik said Pakistan would like to share and learn from the experience of the brotherly country which had a thriving tourism industry and was a major destination for the tourists from all over the world.

She also briefed the ambassador on the steps being taken by the government to promote tourism and project the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan.
