KARACHI, Oct 1: Sindh revenue minister, Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh, has said that land of katcha area would be distributed among land less haris after approval of the federal government.

He said that a PC-1 for the development of katcha area has already been sent to the government for an approval. He stated this while chairing a meeting of the revenue department here on Thursday.

The minister told the meeting that land distribution scheme will be expedited and development of katcha areas would be geared up. He said the record of Gothabad be given in the custody of District Officer (Revenue) and Mukhtiarkar Headquarter (Estate).

He directed that all efforts should be made for early completion of process of verification/ regularization of villages under Gothabad scheme. -APP
