MULTAN: Army college wins laurels

MULTAN, Sept 30: The Army Public Degree College (APDC) students bagged first positions in Urdu and English declamation contest held here on Thursday.

According to local ISPR, the debate contest was participated by the army public colleges of Multan, Bahawalpur and Okara.

The topic of the English declamation contest was "science is necessary for leadership" and that of Urdu was "Insaniat Murr Chuki Hai." The students were well prepared and presented their point of views skill fully and intelligently.

Positions in English contest: APDC Multan's Usman Ibrahim stood first and APDC Bahawalpur's Muhammad Feroz Aslam second. The Urdu debate contest was topped by Multan's Muhammad Mansha Azam with APDC Okara's Sara Batool as runner-up.

The judges included Prof Munir Ahmed Shami (head), Prof Nazimuddin and Prof Aisha Malik. Later, prizes were distributed among the winners by Prof Munir Shami. -APP
