RIYADH, Sept 26: A French man was shot dead in Jeddah in the early hours of Sunday. This was the third such killing of a Westerner over the last two months.
The Saudi Interior Ministry confirmed that a French resident was shot dead in the Zahra neighbourhood of the city.
Police in the al-Zahra district of the Red Sea port city said the shooting occurred at around 1am as the victim was getting into his car in the parking lot of a late night supermarket.
