Mansoor retains crown

ABBOTTABAD Sept 23: Mansoor Zaman retained the President PSF national title at the Pakistan Squash Federation Squash Complex beating Majid Khan 15-6,15-2,13-15,15-5 in the final on Thursday.

Playing with confidence Mansoor was always in control of the first game to win 15-6. There was no let up from Mansoor in the second game and he dropped only two points before wrapping the game 15-2.

Majid surprised his more illustrious rival by winning the third game 15-13 to avoid being beaten in straight games.

Mansoor stunned by the loss of the third game spurred into action and repeatedly scored winners as Majid appeared to ran out of steam and could manage only five points before going down 15-5.

Air Marshal Tanvir Ahmed distributed trophies and cash prizes among the winner and runner up.
