Girl’s body found, buried

KOHAT, May 24: The decomposed body of an unidentified girl was found and buried at the municipal committee graveyard here on Friday.

According to the postmortem report the girl had been subjected to extreme torture before she died.

VAN, BIKE STOLEN: A Suzuki van and a motorcycle were hijacked from Shahdi Khel and Kohat Township respectively. Three armed men signalled a Suzuki van (BUB-9496) on Shahdi Khel Dhoda Golf Ground Road and disappeared with the van in the tribal area.

A new Honda motorcycle (B-9) was taken away by two robbers at gunpoint in the Kohat Township.

The police have registered the cases and started investigations.

SHOT DEAD: Similarly, one Abdullah Khan killed Riaz in Jangle Khel area over a money dispute.

The deceased was sprayed with bullets while he was returning.

He succumbed to his injuries in the Liaquat Memorial Hospital.

KILLED: A young man was killed and five others were seriously injured when two car collided on the Indus Highway near Lachi on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Fazal Kareem son of Haji Fazal Riaz a businessman from Bannu. All the injured belonged to Wana, Waziristan Agency.
