MAKIN, Sept 17: Army and paramilitary forces on Friday launched a search operation in the Makin bazaar after taking control of the troubled area, eyewitnesses said.
Officials said the security forces had recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunition from suspected houses and hideouts.
Officials said the forces had recovered 250 rocket propelled grenades, nine-feet long surface-to-surface missiles, 16 rocket launchers, 25 boxes of ammunition, 20 landmines and three remote-control explosive devices.
