Briton shot dead in Riyadh

RIYADH, Sept 15: A British national was shot dead in Riyadh on Wednesday. A spokesman of the Saudi Interior Ministry confirmed the killing and said that the Briton was in the car park of a commercial establishment in eastern Riyadh when he was killed.

A security person was quoted by agencies as saying that the killing took place near the Max discount shopping centre in the east of the city. Reports said the victim received four bullets, two in the head and two in chest.
