KARACHI: Young man shot dead

KARACHI, Sept 10: A young man, who was shot at by his cousin in Bhorapir on late Thursday night, died on early Friday morning. Police said that Hamid, 26, was shot at by his cousin Saqib over some domestic dispute in Baloch Park located in the limits of Risala police station.

The injured was rushed to the Civil Hospital, where he died on Friday. The hospital sources said that the victim had suffered a bullet wound in the head from a close range. Hamid's mother, Zebnunissa, lodged an FIR against Saqib. The police are looking for the suspect.

KILLED: An elderly man was killed during a motorcycle snatching bid in SITE area late on Thursday night. Police said that Rana Mukhtar, 64, was on his motorcycle (KAF- 2396) when he was intercepted by some armed suspects near Habib Bank Chowrangi.

The police said that as Mukhtar tried to put up resistance, the robbers shot him and fled along with his motorcycle. The wounded person was taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The victim was a resident of Labour Colony.
