LAHORE, Sept 7: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday announced its broadcasters, Dubai-based Taj Entertainment Network (Ten Sports) and ARY, who jointly hold TV rights of Pakistan cricket until 2008 , had developed differences.

The Dubai-based television has initiated legal proceedings against ARY while the PCB has also been named as a party in the case, a cricket board press release said. "The PCB would like to clarify that it deeply regrets this unfortunate development and states that it shall remain totally neutral but at the same time would seek performance of Basic Agreement with the two parties in entirety so that the PCB and viewers in general are not affected," the press release further said.

"The PCB would like the dispute to be resolved amicably at the earliest. "The PCB chairman would also be willing to facilitate a meaningful dialogue between the two parties." -PPI
